My Sims2 Nightlife Legacy family - Ugly

(Most recent blog entry is directly below this entry which will always stay at the top)

I'm starting with two grotesquely deformed Sims, looking to see if the family maintains its ugliness through 10 generations of mixing with "normal" sims. Follow along, and if you're interested in trading links with your own Legacy challenge sites, please leave a comment with the URL!

New House, New Baby, Retirement, Open for Business!

Well, the Uglies are back!

Joe and Jane are happy elders, both retired from their jobs and dedicating the rest of their lives to raising their family and supporting their kids' adventures.

Wally is currently 6 days away from becoming an adult, and while Mom and Dad are still earning a bit of cash through retirement funds, Wally's the one who is taking up the reigns for moving the family forward financially for the future, through a Home Business.

Jane spends her spare time cooking up plates of Mac and Cheese and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches while little toddler Realle plays with her favorite toy, the rabbit head in the background. Joe and Wally are both working towards being proficient Robot makers.

When Wally opens up the business in the front yard, Jane works on improving her sales skill while Wally works mainly as cashier, with a few stints of sales work when the register is slow.

Even little Willy, who is currently a child, gets into the business fray by tending the lemonade stand that's off to the side of the business area. Willy has shown promise in partnering up with Wally when he gets older and can take on some more of the responsibilities.

Wally's been interacting almost exclusively with the family, yet he still wants that elusive first kiss... will he find love as a teenager, or will his business inclinations keep him single into his adult life?

Stay tuned!

Crowded house, Toddler Willy

Both Mary and Joe have good jobs but the money just isn't coming in fast enough to move into that great new home Joe was looking at.

Baby Willy arrived and has aged into a toddler, looking pretty much exactly like his older brother Wally. Wally decided to let his hair grow out so he and Willy looked a little bit different and weren't mistaken for Father and Son out in the front yard my well-meaning but obviously "stranger" neighbors that wander by.

Mary and Joe continue to work hard to earn the money needed to buy a larger home for their growing family, but Mary is coming to the realization that it might be a future generation that is wealthy enough to own that Tidy Tudor Joe had his eye on. Mary and Joe and their family may have to settle for something a little less extravagant.

The house they're in right now is getting really crowded, now that Willy is no longer a baby and needs his own "things" out, like the Wobbly Rabbit Head and of course, the potty.

Wally is being a good sport with all the chaos that home represents now - he's taken an after-school job in a lab and even got a promotion, all while keeping his grades high. It's really too bad Wally won't be going to University, although he says he doesn't mind - he doesn't need the University in order to continue learning in his life.

Mary decides to take a drive around the neighborhood to see if there's a nice, but cheaper, home available that might work for their family needs. Something she can bring to Joe to talk about. The opportunity to retire is getting very close for both Mary and Joe now, they're no spring chickens anymore! Mary is nervous that Joe won't want to retire, and their golden years will be spent separated due to work.

Mary's third trimester, Wally's a teen

It won't be long before there's another little Ugly child requiring SimAttention in my game. Mary is in her third trimester and will give birth in a few hours, and Wally just finished celebrating his teenaged age transition.

As Wally relaxes with Mom before she drifts off to sleep again, Mary tells Wally that this pregnancy is a lot harder than with him - she's incredibly tired and incredibly hungry and feels like she has to go to the bathroom all the time as well. Maybe this one is a girl?

Mary and Joe don't even mention the possibility of twins. The house is too small, they're not ready for that much responsibility!

Sure sign #2 is on the way

I love the way she's thinking about Joe as she hurls.

'Nuff said.
